Over the last decade, Oaklawn has become a popular track for prepping horses for the Triple Crown. In the 2016 Rebel Stakes, Cupid was hoping to take a big step in establishing his credentials to compete for the Triple Crown. He did not disappoint and is scheduled to run in the Arkansas Derby on April 16th hoping he can follow in last year's Triple Crown winner, American Pharaoh's footsteps.

The new Elan's restaurant at the Granada Clubhouse is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This location, which has inside and outside dining with wonderful views of the golf course, has been closed for renovations for a few months. It is great to once again have this fabulous location available for dining!

While Hot Springs Village and Hot Springs are two separate communities, the residents of the Village are just a short drive from activities in Hot Springs. One of the activities that Village residents and visitors enjoy is a trip to Hot Springs National Park, the only National Park that is in a city. The most visited part of Hot Springs National Park is Bathhouse Row, which features several current and former bathhouses that are all part of the National Park. A recent episode of CBS Sunday Morning featured a segment on the hot springs in the National Park.

Pickleball was invented in 1965 and is great for folks of all ages! It's played on a court that is similar to a badminton court using it's own special pickleball paddles. The ball is like a whiffle ball but smaller in size. The net is lower making it accessible to all levels of play! The Hot Springs Village Pickleball club has over 200 members and 8 courts available for day and night play. Come check it out!
