New Blaine is a community west of Dardanelle in Logan County. It offers Shoal Bay Park on Lake Dardanelle, miles and miles of horse and ATV trails, Lonesome D Horse and RV Camp, beer and wine sales, and one of the best fireworks shows around. They have activities during the day on the 4th of July, but the fireworks are what draw me. We along with some friends have made it a tradition to go park alongside the ball field, drop the tailgate, walk over to the concession stand, and watch the show. The Volunteer Fire Department group does a great job.

New Blaine is a community in Logan County Arkansas. They have Shoal Bay on Lake Dardanelle, Big Shoal Creek, Little Shoal Creek, Lonesome D and Sorghum Hollow horse camps, and is the first place to buy beer and wine after leaving Conway County.

Trail Riding, cooking, campfires, and friends filled the weekend at Lonesome D Horsecamp. Shoal Creek is always beautiful and was rolling pretty good this weekend. The blackberries are loaded with blooms and the views of the valleys and bluffs are unbeatable.

Located in East Logan County on Lake Dardanelle is this rural community that joins the
National Forest with all the four-wheeler trails and horse trails enjoyed by many visitors all year long.
