This local coffee shop is a great place to grab a coffee and hang out with friends. During warmer, sunny days they open up the "garage" door and windows, which creates a wonderful open atmosphere. I personally love their lavender lattes with oat milk. The Fort Smith Coffee Co also offers delicious baked goods and a great brunch menu. They make most of their items from scratch and use locally sourced products. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee and a nice place to relax, check out the Fort Smith Coffee Co.

The Creative Kitchen is a unique shop in downtown Fort Smith. It's part bakery, part food and kitchen shop. Their cupcakes and macaroons are always delicious. I ordered my friend's cake for her baby shower here and they did an incredible job.

I always find cute gifts for my mom, friends or even myself at the Creative Kitchen. The ladies that work here are always very friendly. I love going to the Creative Kitchen because I always find something special. If you're in downtown Fort Smith and looking for a quality gift, or delicious treat, check out the Creative Kitchen.

In my opinion, Fried Rice has the best egg rolls in town! If you like great food, big portions, and low prices, then Fried Rice is the place for you. They always have the best service, and the food never disappoints. There are two locations to visit in Fort Smith. One is off of Midland Boulevard and the other is off of Towson Avenue. Check them out!
  • Taliano's is a family-owned and always great Italian restaurant. We go to Taliano's every year for my aunt's birthday, and we've never had a bad experience! The staff is great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is unique and cozy. If you are looking for the best Italian food in town, look no further and check out Taliano's!

Tassanee's menu offers so many different options. They have so many vegetarian friendly meals. My personal favorite is the pad see ew with tofu. They offer different spice levels, so you can customize the heat in your dish. The portions are pretty large so I usually get to enjoy the leftovers the next day. Thai food has a special place in my heart because I have an aunt who is from Thailand. Whenever I eat at Tassanee's I'm reminded of her cooking and great memories with her. If you already love Thai food or want to try it out for the first time, check this place out.

If you are looking for a unique and delicious dessert place, you have to check out Vargas. This place specializes in rolled ice cream and huge shakes. These desserts are definitely Instagram worthy - and they taste amazing. I have never been disappointed with Vargas. They have so many flavor options and you can add toppings of your choice. I cannot say enough positive things about Vargas, so if you haven't been yet, you need to check it out.

I love Mediterranean food and Paizi's is my favorite place in Fort Smith to get it. They offer pita sandwiches and "platters" on the menu. However, my favorite is their large Greek salad. It's so healthy, fresh, and filling! You can order the salad with lamb, shrimp, beef, or chicken but I love it without the meat and it's just as filling. They have a lot of side items on their menu also and if you have room for dessert the classic baklava is a great finish to your meal. Opa!

Stonehouse at Chaffee Crossing is a great farm fresh restaurant. The inside of the restaurant offers a cozy vibe and a friendly atmosphere. During the warmer months, the outside patio is my favorite place to eat and enjoy dinner with friends. The menu offers high quality creations and you'll find it's a perfect place for steak lovers or vegetarians.

Papa's is consistently voted Fort Smith's best pizza and bar! It's is located on Garrison Avenue in downtown Fort Smith. It's a great place to catch a Razorback game and hang with friends. We recently had dinner at Fuji and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! They serve seafood and steak on a hibachi grill and also have a wide variety of sushi rolls. Their "sexy sauce" is delicious and tastes great with the vegetables and rice. It's a fun family environment with dinner and a show! They also have two party rooms that are great for birthday dinners with friends and family.

Patrick's is famous for their amazing burgers and fresh cut fries. But the reason I love Patrick's has to be their made fresh salmon burgers. These salmon burgers are the best in the state in my opinion. The name comes from the owner's grandfather who was a butcher. So, this family has been in the meat business for a while - and it shows. If you're in Fort Smith and looking for a casual burger place with fresh ingredients and friendly faces, stop by Patrick's.

This is a family business in its fourth generation. They make fine chocolates and sell other candies as well. I love the truffles and they have so many flavors to choose from! They have a large assortment of salt water taffy and even have sugar free options. One of their best sellers are the "turtles" - which I can vouch are truly delicious. This place is a treasure no matter how old or young you are. I love coming here to pick out a nice assortment to give as gifts. They sell most of their items by weight, so you can buy as few or as many of each chocolate or candy you want. With all they have to offer, I think everyone can find something they love at Kopper Kettle.

Carrot Dirt mainly offers fresh, nutrient rich juices but they also have a section of vegan products. I love the vegan queso they sell here, I used to drive 45 minutes to another store to get it. Now I can buy it locally and it's so much more convenient! Their juices are delicious and make for great snacks when I'm on the go. You can choose the juice you want based on flavors you like, or by nutrients you know you're needing a boost of. The people who work here are very helpful and love to help you with any questions you might have. If you're looking for a healthy place to help fuel your mind and body, check out Carrot Dirt Organics!

Rolando's is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Smith. Rolando's is a Latin American restaurant. It's unique flavors do not disappoint! Every dish I've had comes out with bright beautiful colors, and fresh ingredients. The owner is from Ecuador and his background has inspired this restaurant in the best way. If you haven't had Latin American food before, you should check this place out. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes your favorite place too.
  • The Fort Smith Farmer's Market is a great place to get fresh produce, flowers, and so much more. I love supporting local farmer's and local vendor's. You can find quality products here and you have peace of knowing where it's coming from. It's technically open year round, but most of the vendors participate during the warmer months (end of April to end of September). The market is open 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Saturdays.
  • You know when you take a bite of something and it instantly transports you back to a place you've been before? That's what Y.W. Poke does for me. I have family in Hawaii and have traveled to visit them many times. I love this restaurant because it offers that island food I love and miss. This little gem in Fort Smith offers signature menu options or you can build your own poke bowl. If you're wanting an adventurous date night dinner or just looking for that fresh Hawaiian style you already love, check out Y.W. Poke.
  • The people working at Ultimutt Dog Care are true animal lovers! I trust them to take care of my dog (which I treat like family) and cannot say enough positive things about this business. I take my dog here for daycare and have trusted them to board her in the past when we went on vacation. They are kind, patient, and want your pet to have the best experience! This is a great place if you live and work in Fort Smith, but want your dog to have a great day while you are gone at work.
  • The main reason I love Ben Geren Park is it literally offers so many options in one park! Do you like biking or hiking? This park has trails for that! There are tennis courts, soccer fields, a beautiful golf course, volley ball nets/pits, and disc-golf. This park was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Fort Smith and is still a place I go to at least once a week. The park also offers playgrounds for kids and workout opportunities along the walking trails. With so much to do, it's a great place to hang out with friends or family.
  • The nature center is so beautiful and peaceful! There's a beautiful lake for fishing or you can just sit back and enjoy the view. I love walking the trails with my dog. There's also so much information and interesting exhibits offered inside the nature center building. This place is perfect no matter how young or old you are. Some people drive an hour or more to get some quiet and fresh air, but if you live in Fort Smith, you don't have to! The nature center is minutes from great restaurants and neighborhoods!
